You may remember me as Chandra of Damascus and from Chandra’s Dance Extravaganza, which I sold a few years ago. Since then, I’ve been creating beautiful jewelry that I like to call “wearable art”. I’d love for you to see it and renew old acquaintances.
For the last few years my husband Bob and I have been traveling in our RV through the American west. As we discover little treasures I have been collecting gorgeous and exciting semi-precious stones and beads to blend into my jewelry. We’ve also spent a lot of time in the Florida Keys and the southern Appalachian mountains and I find inspiration in the glorious colors and textures of these magnificent landscapes. Each of my pieces embodies elements drawn from a different natural scene: the muted but rich pastels and textures of the desert …the stunning seascape of the Florida Keys, where the ocean is magically transformed into emerald and turquoise … the vibrantly brilliant fall colors of the North Carolina mountains. And of course, some of my creations draw inspiration from my lifetime in Middle East dance.
You can see my artisan jewelry on my website http://www.dianakirkpatrick.com/ and also at some special events.
Sunday, November 25, my jewelry party will be at Instep Studio, 2609 Glover Road, Tallahassee, FL from 2 to 5 p.m. This party is hosted by Nancy Redig of Instep Studio. Please RSVP to 866-377-5151
Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2, I’ll show my jewelry at a Middle Eastern Dance seminar in Gainesville, FL sponsored by Global Dance Arts. To register for the seminar or one of the shows, go to http://www.globaldancearts.com/
I love my designs, I wear them and I enjoy seeing others wear my creations. This is the first issue of an occasional e-newsletter for those interested in my jewelry. It will tell you about my latest creations and where you can see them. And please do tell your friends about my work.
I'm taking the liberty of assuming you would like to see my newsletter. If you prefer to be removed from my newsletter list, you can unsubscribe below or on my website (under “Contact”). And if you send friends a copy, your friends can subscribe too.
