Big Sales starts November 1st

The sale officially starts on November 1st, but I've reduced prices 20% and everything is ready to go now.  Just visit www.dianakirkpatrick.com/shophome.htm to see all the earring styles and other pieces that are available. I’ve added lots of new items my website store. Don't miss the sparkly new dangley earrings.  For anyone looking for bridal jewelry - either for the bride or for her attendants and family - please check out the bridal section of my site (http://www.dianakirkpatrick.com/shop/?itemid=143).

I'm doing the "Christmas Made in the South" Arts and Crafts show in Jacksonville, FL the weekend after Thanksgiving. If you are interested in attending the show, I will gladly send you discount coupons- just e-mail me your address. The show runs Friday, November 27 through Sunday, November 29.
I've redone all of the sections in my Etsy store at http://www.dianakirkpatrickart.etsy.com/ so I can alert you to sale items and clearance pieces. I've also included a new section for items that have just been added. There are several sale items listed, plus a number of new jewelry items that you'll find interesting.    I'll be adding beads and findings for sale soon in another new section.

Pearls

What do you look for in handcrafted pearl jewelry? My handmade pearl jewelry is all one-of-a-kind designs. I’ve been inspired by all the lovely pearls I’ve been seeing - little button pearls, potato pearls, and stick pearls in a number of colors. I offer a selection of AAA and AAA+ pearls, too.

My elegant pearl necklaces include mixtures of blister pearls, round pearls, and potato pearls, sometimes with a focal accent of little keishi pearl flowers – all accented with Swarovski crystals or gemstones–superb materials and quality workmanship – gorgeous handcrafted artisan pearl jewelry that you will love to own and wear or to give as a gift.

We recently got a new RV and we've been checking it out on several short trips.   So far, so good - everything seems OK.

We're looking forward to more and longer trips in the coming months.

Squidoo Updates

It's a gray rainy day here and I'm updating my Squidoo.com lenses.   One of my lenses is all about gemstones and gemstone lore. The newest lense is all about things bridal:  tips on planning your wedding and reception.

Here are links to two of my lenses (I have four, but you can get to them all from these two): my Squidoo jewelry site is www.squidoo.com/ArtYouCanWear and my site for woven fiber jewelry pieces is www.squidoo.com/needlewoven_necklaces.

Working with Wire

No photos yet, but I'm working on some simple trefoil designs in wire.   I can't work with well heavy wire due to arthritis in my hands, but I hope to translate the idea to twisted metal and fiber.

Stay tuned for this and some woven necklaces in the near future.
